In Rosario, Argentina, twelve people—eight women and four men—were arrested as part of the dismantling of narco-criminal networks linked to the 'Los Monos' and 'Los Menores' gangs. The operation was carried out by the Federal Police's Federal Investigations Department under the national 'Plan Bandera' initiative, ordered by the Ministry of Security. The investigation, which began in February, followed the discovery of numerous drug-dealing points operated by the two rival organizations, which were fighting for territorial control over the city's north and south. Through fieldwork, surveillance, and court-authorized wiretaps, authorities identified the suspects and their roles within the criminal structures. Based on the evidence gathered, a first-instance court, led by Judge Rodrigo Santana, ordered 28 raids on various properties. In addition to the arrests, 35 other individuals were notified. Authorities seized cocaine and marijuana doses, 51 cell phones, over 6 million pesos, $730, a replica revolver, a DVR, and cigarette rolling paper. Several of the raided homes had previously been searched by the police, and the detainees were remanded to the court for violating drug laws.
